Strahov Monastery, navigation system

Strahov Monastery has an established infosystem, which will be expanded over time with additional elements.

The conceptual design is based on aluminum steles with carved motifs of small crosses. The objective was to create a lightweight, materially beautiful symbol of the singularity of Strahov Monastery. The ethereal nature of the contemporary elements, combined with the yellow color of the stelae, is intended to help orientate the place, where many styles of architecture come together, and the site is a complex labyrinth for the pilgrim. The typography is austere and utilitarian.
