Prague 10, competition

Prague 10, competition
We want the identity of Prague 10 to be diverse.
We want the identity to be easily recognizable.
We want the identity of Prague 10 to be playful.
We want the color of Prague 10 and the entire visual identity to be bold, unique and slightly controversial.
We want the identity to be modern and contemporary.
We based the work on the visual style of Prague 10 on a simple and distinctive motif of ten points, which in their composition form the number 10. At the same time, to support the brand, we chose the slogan “ten points out of ten” as the highest possible positive rating. We are playing this motif as a motto on other applications. The motif of a point (circle) as the simplest possible symbol becomes a visual identity.
In the design, the frequency of points represents the vastness of one of the largest Prague districts. The composition of points in the number 10 offers variable use in many shape and color compositions. We present these compositions on other derived brands of entities, such as the Social and Nursing Assistance Center. They are then applied in the design in all designed graphic outputs. The variability of the design allows for easy application of these elements to animation or to the online environment, which is currently a necessary prerequisite. Working with size, color and composition is easy to develop for future functioning within the office.
As part of the research of the identities of other city districts of Prague, we came to the conclusion that the color of Prague 10 should have a distinctive shade. The color scale of the design contains other complementary colors, but we recommend working mainly with a shade of purple for clarity and easy recognition. This color is suitable for both print and digital environments. The BC Novatica font was used for the logotype.
