The typography of Raumschiff Enterprise is inspired by the environment from the movie Star Trek. Our stellar journey ended in Berlin, where we helped prepare an exhibition on the mother ship Tschechisches Zentrum Berlin, which documents the famous building in photographs by the renowned Schnepp Renou studio. The 1978 building, designed by Věra and Vladimír Machonin, is located in the heart of Berlin on Wilhelmstrasse. The place where the Czech embassy is located is a typical example of brutalist architecture in the metropolis and the house has become an architectural icon. The typography was adapted to the well-known "sci-fi / trash" period inscriptions, based mainly on Eurostile fonts, Bank Gothic, etc. The main photo of the poster is a cut-out from the photo where the house itself is in the axial composition. The photography is so scenic that we chose it as our main motif. If you want to see the incredible brutalist armchairs and if you want to greet Mr. Spock, do not hesitate to visit the exhibition in Berlin.
